Welcoming reception. Restaurant staff was very accessible. Perfectly located for us.
-
Staff was excellent and room was very clean. Not far from the downtown, 10 minutes on foot. Also, we were 10 minutes walk from bournemouth beach. The breakfast was great, lots of food.
-
Pool and the winter garden were advantages for us. The sauna was there to chill out.
-
The best part of the Durley Grange is the lovely friendly staff, and delicious food, Fatima our waitress was excellent.
Carpet in room was in need of a clean and it was bumpy in places, bed was squeaky.also lounge chairs were a bit bulky which made it hard to get to the bar and back, they also need renewed stuffing in the seat area, but it has not put us off coming back to the Durley Grange.
-
Not too large and friendly atmosphere. Room was pleasant although pillows a bit lumpy. Everything was clean and there was plenty of tea and coffee on the tray in the room
The bath was slippery when you got in it to shower, a gripper mat would help.
-
The welcome.............the helpful staff............ The excellent food ......the muted music. The entertainment so varied and suitable for all ages and tastes.
The tea and coffee provided in the rooms is not very nice.......so we just bring our own.

Head waiter Richard was very good and also the lady at reception was very good. Food was not as good as our last stay. We were able to change rooms due to our first room being over the kitchen and the smell was not good.
On arrival we were given our key to room and told the room number and we had to return to reception has we could not find it as we were not given any directions. Water preasure on the 3rd floor was very poor on taps and shower. Food could have been better not a lot of flavour.
-
Very friendly and helpful, room nice and quite at night.
Just needs to have shampoo and bath stuff in bathroom
-
the very friendly staff and the food had good choice and quality the hole holiday was a blast
the lift it was a little on small side the room could do with upgrading
-
We have been staying at the Durley Grange over a number of years and w like the fact that they have retained the same staff over the years and we are always treated like returning friends rather than guests.
-
Staff very friendly and helpful. Entertainmeny very good.
Bedrooms & bathrooms need updating. Bed uncomfortable duvet stained. Shower needs replacing ...... danger of scolding no thermostatic control. Food good but menu could be extended to give more choice.
-
Facilities good, location good and staff friendly
Room dated- ceiling had been patched up and not painted ans shower a bit weak
-
Good all round and would visit again.
-
It is a very friendly hotel, situated just off centre so it is very quiet area The proprietor is very charming and chats to all the guests.Weshall return to the hotel in the future

We were made welcome on our arrival by Emma on reception and from that moment on nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. The meals were excellent and you never left the resteraunt feeling you could have eaten more(not good for the waist line). The bedroom was serviced every day, clean towels etc.again nothing too much trouble, all in all a very enjoyable holiday.
The drinks in the bar were a little bit pricey but apart from that, nothing.
